Free Astronaut Pattern

We’re really looking forward to hosting the Rocket Nap Buddy CAL, starting on the 26th September!!!! If you missed the information for it, check out the blog post below! In anticipation of this CAL, Lisa Ferrell from My Fingers Fly has released this lovely astronaut pattern – and it’s free on her blog!

These Cuddle Doll Astronauts will be a hit with space-obsessed children and some space explorers will make a great addition to the Rocket Nap Buddy. Materials needed include: worsted (aran) weight yarn (3 oz in main colour, 3/4 oz in contrast and just 5 yards of flesh colour with a yard of red or pink for the mouth) and a 4mm hook. You’ll also need stuffing, safety eyes and any appliques you want to add for them.

Lisa is running a competition with this Rocket Nap Buddy CAL! There are three winners. One from CAL – Crochet A Long, one from My Fingers Fly and one from Ravelry. The first person to post a photograph of their completed work on My Fingers Fly’s Ravelry, will get the free ebook. So will the first person to post a picture of a completed Nap Buddy in Lisa’s album on her Facebook group and – also – the first to post their completed project in CAL – Crochet A Longs ALBUM (click on album, it’ll take you there) also wins the ebook!!! There will be three different winners, as you can only win once.

All the Nap Buddy patterns can be found on My Fingers Fly’s Ravelry. All patterns and ebook are 50% off for the duration of the CAL and if you aren’t a winner of the ebook, you can still be a winner. Just go to the designers Ravelry store, create a project a and post a picture of the finished BLANKET and ROCKET. You’ll then receive a coupon for one free Nap Buddy pattern!!
